Notes
Response time is generally specified as the time between touch detection and coordinate report by the controller. It does not include te time for the touch location to be presented on the display (additional layers of hardware, driver, processing, operating system overhead and application processing can all add delays).
Capacitive may not be responsive to people with low body capacitance or in very cold temperatures.
This feature is currently in development
means that 2 simultaneous touches are averaged; means that the 2nd touch is ignored.
Fingernail, credit card and hard tip stylus can all be used on resistive but can damage the flexible top layer and lead to failure.
Open-frame monitors can be sealed to NEMA-4 or higher, depending on customer implementation.
IntelliTouch surface wave is available as SecureTouch, which meets UL-60950.
SecureTouch is available with tempered glass.
